Chiller Operating Procedures

1. Preparatory work before starting

1 ) Ensure that the unit and the controller is powered on .

2 ) Confirm the cooling tower fans, cooling water pumps, cooling water pumps are turned on.

3 ) Confirm the end of Fan Coil units are powered on.

2. Start

1 ) Press the status key on the keyboard , then the keyboard below the unit ON / OFF ( on / off ) toggle switch to ON (ON) position.

2 ) The unit will conduct a self-test , a few seconds later, a compressor start until load increases compressor starts after another .

3 ) Once the unit is started , all operations were not automatic. Unit according to the cooling load ( chilled water supply and return water temperature ) changes automatically start and stop.

3. Normal operation

1 ) Unit normal operation, the controller will monitor oil pressure, motor current and other parameters of the system, if there are any problems , the control system will automatically take the appropriate measures to protect the unit and the fault information displayed on unit screen. ( Please refer to the Installation, Operation and Maintenance Manual )

2 ) During the 24 -hour period of operation, there should be someone with a permanent record of a fixed time interval unit operating conditions.

4. Stop

1 ) As long as the unit below the keyboard ON / OFF toggle switch to the off position , you can make the unit shut down .

2 ) To prevent damage, even when the unit is shut down , do not cut off the power supply unit .

5. Fans, pumps operating

1) Cooling tower fans, cooling water pumps, cooling water pumps are controlled independently , be sure the power before starting the normal , non- inverting , no phase .

2) Pump before opening the valve in the pipeline should be recognized are opened.
